Robodex was born in a college dorm room. Two engineering students frustrated with the ₹5L+ cost of smart homes decided to build something affordable for every Indian family.

The Origin Story

In 2023, Ishaan and Dhanush were working on their final year engineering project. They realized that home automation was a luxury only the wealthy could afford in India.

The problem wasn't technology - it was the business model. Expensive installations, proprietary systems, and vendor lock-in made smart homes inaccessible.
